• Assist in the preparation and review of payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding prior to submission to CHRO • Maintain compensation records including salary changes, promotions, and stipend approvals in HRIS/payroll system • Track and enter deductions and earnings including bonuses, garnishments, reimbursements, and benefit adjustments • Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in coordination with benefit carriers and HRIS • Educate employees about benefits offerings, open enrollment timelines, and life event reporting • Respond to payroll and benefit inquiries and provide support in resolving issues in a timely, professional manner • Monitor compliance with federal and state wage laws (e.g., FLSA), including exempt/non-exempt status and overtime tracking • Reconcile benefits invoices and report discrepancies to the Compensation & Benefits Manager • Maintain digital files and logs of compensation actions and employee benefits documentation • Support reporting requirements by producing compensation and benefits data for audits or leadership as needed
• 13 AIHR certifications • SHRM certification • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred • Minimum 2 years of payroll and/or benefits experience required • Experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings preferred • Working knowledge of FLSA, ACA, and HIPAA requirements • Ability to pass background and reference checks
