📋 Description

• Design, develop, modify, and enhance applications using SYNON/COOL 2E, COBOL400, CL/400, CLLE, and DB2/400 • Develop and support RxCLAIM/pharmacy claims adjudication functionality and related business processes • Analyze and enhance complex claim processing logic, business rules, and system workflows • Develop and maintain integrations with downstream healthcare and PBM systems • Perform major enhancements and modifications to existing healthcare applications • Maintain, modernize, and improve existing AS/400 applications while developing new solutions • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and application issues • Investigate system defects, identify root causes, and implement technical solutions • Translate business requirements into technical designs and application changes • Document system flows, application functionality, interfaces, and business logic • Perform impact analysis for application changes and protect downstream processes • Conduct unit and integration testing and support system/user acceptance testing • Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, QA teams, and healthcare/PBM stakeholders • Deliver high-quality, reliable code with minimal supervision • Own assigned development activities and meet project milestones and deadlines • Provide technical guidance and assume leadership responsibilities when needed

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SYNON / COOL 2E, COBOL400, CL/400 and CLLE, and DB2/400 • Strong hands-on experience with RxCLAIM • Ability and willingness to take on technical leadership responsibilities when required • Experience working with pharmacy claims adjudication and claims processing systems • Strong knowledge of Healthcare / Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) processes and applications • Experience analyzing and modifying complex claims processing logic and business rules • Experience supporting integrations between RxCLAIM/AS400 applications and downstream healthcare systems • Strong production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills • Ability to understand complex legacy applications and make enhancements with minimal supervision • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams • Experience supporting large-scale healthcare or PBM platforms • Experience performing major enhancements to existing AS/400 healthcare applications • Strong understanding of legacy application architecture and modernization considerations • Experience documenting complex system flows and business logic • Experience working in Agile or structured environments • Ability to participate in internal and external meetings via video calls, as necessary • Ability to work onsite at corporate or client offices, as necessary • For positions requiring business travel and/or event attendance, a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required
