β’ Generate, qualify, and follow up with leads β’ Make sales calls to new and existing customers β’ Maintain Salesforce sales funnel and day-to-day updates with clients β’ Follow up with all sales and projects regularly β’ Maintain a sales quota with specific sales calls, presentations, and demonstration measurables β’ Maintain a sales action plan with a two-month lead time β’ Discuss company-offered services, including process automation & controls, electrical engineering, and E&I services β’ Work with department leads to understand operations, needs, and existing clients and projects β’ Develop strategic relationships with corporate accounts β’ Work with clients to identify and implement strategies to improve the quality of service, productivity, and profitability β’ Use existing relationships to develop client referrals β’ Attend trade shows and expos within the geographic area β’ Actively attend industry-related social networking groups and organizations β’ Capture a defined scope of work to generate proposals β’ Monitor competition, market conditions, and product development β’ Develop client-specific sales presentations β’ Provide sales progress reports to management β’ Master the art of negotiating β’ Master the art of qualifying β’ Share our story and culture with all existing and potential clients
β’ 5+ years of industrial/electrical sales experience with a preference towards process automation and controls, electrical engineering, and field services β’ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills β’ Proven ability in building productive business relationships β’ Mechanical aptitude is preferred β’ Stable work history β’ Must be legally eligible to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available β’ Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening β’ Must have a valid driverβs license with a good and safe driving history β’ Must have a reliable means of transportation β’ Must be able to comply with customer site requirements for access/entry β’ Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly β’ Ability to work in inclement weather and/or extreme weather-related conditions β’ Required to wear PPE/Safety gear at specific times β’ Ability to wear an N-95 mask when required
