Evidence Action is a non-profit organization that scales low-cost health interventions to improve the well-being of millions of people, primarily in Africa and Asia. 📋 Description

• Provide technical, project management, and strategic support for the implementation of an existing EVA program (particularly SQLN-S in Nigeria), ensuring technically sound implementation and government alignment: • Support country team members with strategic and technical guidance, tools, and resources for implementation of the program in their relevant country context. • Support in developing and monitoring program workplans, budgets and milestone trackers to ensure timely, quality implementation. • Provide technical and research support to inform long-term goals and implementation pathways. • Contribute to the expansion of Evidence Action’s existing and new nutrition programs by conducting scoping activities in Africa and Asia to understand the partner landscape, government buy-in, and potential impact and feasibility of program expansion in those geographies. • Support development of reports to inform the organization’s internal understanding on the potential design, impact and cost-effectiveness of expansion activities. • Review the evidence base, cost-effectiveness and implementation feasibility of nutrition interventions in the Accelerator pipeline. As interventions progress through the pipeline, support development of initial plans for scoping and piloting interventions as needed. • Support our Executive Vice President across strategic team initiatives; this may include coordinating team level objectives, supporting development and execution of key strategic initiatives, and drafting presentations for leadership decision making. • Partner with cross-functional teams (i.e. cost-effectiveness and monitoring, learning and evaluation (MLE)) to design cost-effectiveness models, theories of change, MLE frameworks, implementation research studies, surveys and evaluations. • Support identification and engagement with values-aligned donors, including development fundraising materials (pitches, slide decks, budgets), and tracking of fundraising work-plans. • Provide input on cultivating strategic partnerships with external stakeholders (technical experts, government, multilaterals and other development partners) to enable effective collaboration and advocacy.

🎯 Requirements

• You hold a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of work experience designing and implementing global health or international development programs. • You have experience managing global health/nutrition programs, including the development and management of budgets and workplans. • You build relationships across departments, levels, geographies and backgrounds with an ability to influence a variety of stakeholders in multicultural settings, including researchers, implementing partners, donors, and government officials. • You have experience engaging in fundraising activities and supporting development of donor reports. • You have strong writing skills to draft donor reports, pitch decks, and briefs, with the ability to communicate evidence-based programming and results to a non-technical audience. • You build decks and documents for external use (e.g. case studies, reports, concept notes, articles/blog posts). • You have experience in data analysis with the ability to work through large data sets, create budgets, and manage pivot tables in Microsoft Excel. • You have worked in an international organization. • You have a passion for Evidence Action’s core values, mission, and programs.

🏖️ Benefits

• The expected pay range for this full-time role is $71,400 - 80,000 per year. • For US based roles, Evidence Action provides comprehensive benefits including international health care, HSA/FSA options, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement plans with a matching component, generous and flexible leave options, as well as other employee perks on a reimbursement basis.
