📋 Description

• As an experienced Consultant (m/f/d), you will support our clients in implementing modern digital workplace strategies based on Omnissa Horizon. • You will accompany projects holistically, from requirements analysis and architecture design to implementation and optimization of existing environments. • Contribute your expertise to demanding client projects. • Planning, design and implementation of Omnissa Horizon environments (on-premises, hybrid and cloud). • Advising and supporting migrations of existing VDI platforms to Omnissa Horizon. • Conducting workshops, technical assessments and proofs-of-concept. • Integration of Horizon with related technologies such as vSphere, NSX, App Volumes and DEM. • Analysis and optimization of existing environments with respect to performance, scalability and security. • Preparation of architecture concepts, technical documentation and operations manuals. • Close collaboration with project managers, sales teams and our clients’ IT departments. • Technical support and troubleshooting as part of client projects and operational support. • Taking on subproject leadership as well as providing technical guidance and the further development of Junior Consultants (senior-level).

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience, degree or training in the field of IT • Several years of experience with VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon (VDI, Published Applications and Blast protocol) • Solid knowledge of VMware vSphere / vCenter as well as Windows Server and client operating systems • Experience working with Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS and PKI in VDI environments • Good understanding of networking concepts, particularly Unified Access Gateway (UAG), load balancing and firewall rules • Strong customer and consulting orientation as well as experience in designing and implementing technical solutions • Analytical mindset, good communication skills and a quick grasp of new topics • Fluent German (at least C1) and good English (at least B2) • Willingness to travel occasionally for client assignments.
