📋 Description

• Planning, design and implementation of Omnissa Horizon environments (on-premises, hybrid and cloud) • Consulting and support for migrating existing VDI platforms to Omnissa Horizon • Conducting workshops, technical assessments and proofs of concept • Integration of Horizon with adjacent technologies such as vSphere, NSX, App Volumes and DEM • Analyzing and optimizing existing environments for performance, scalability and security • Developing architectural concepts, technical documentation and operational runbooks • Close collaboration with project managers, sales teams and customers' IT departments • Technical support and troubleshooting within customer projects and operations support • Taking on partial project lead responsibilities as well as providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior consultants (senior level)

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience, degree or vocational training in IT • Several years of experience with VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon (VDI, published applications and Blast protocol) • Solid knowledge of VMware vSphere / vCenter as well as Windows Server and client operating systems • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS and PKI in VDI environments • Good understanding of networking concepts, particularly Unified Access Gateway (UAG), load balancing and firewall rule sets • Strong customer and consulting orientation, with experience in designing and implementing technical solutions • Analytical mindset, good communication skills and quick comprehension • Fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2) • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements
