• Handle projects related to the design and development of Body Structure (BIW) from concept development to SOP milestone • Develop master sections, packaging, and feasibility studies • Ensure CAD delivery of sheet metal according to project milestone targets • Collaborate with Project Lead, Manufacturing, and Supplier Engineering teams for design evolution and feasibility • Communicate with stakeholders to achieve design convergence • Manage product lifecycle and part release using PLM tools • Provide design solutions based on CAE assessments • Prepare and maintain BOMs, drawings, specifications, and design change logs • Optimize designs for weight reduction, cost efficiency, and manufacturability while maintaining structural integrity and CAE targets
• B.E. required • 3–6 years of experience • Strong technical skills in sheet metal manufacturing and body assembly processes • Knowledge of GD&T, sheet metal tolerancing, DFA, and DFM • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter and ENOVIA PLM tools • Basic understanding of structural analysis and CAE tools/delivery • Proficiency in CATIA V5 and V6 • Experience with ENOVIA PLM for product lifecycle management and part release • English essential • No visa sponsorship
