📋 Description

• Provide technology and product consulting for account opportunities • Provide technical sales support • Deliver high-level and in-depth technical presentations for customers, prospects, and channel partners • Support RFI/RFP responses • Organize and lead Proof of Concept activities • Design solutions that meet customer requirements • Participate as a specialist on assigned virtual teams • Contribute to other team activities • Travel domestically and internationally • Support customer evaluations, demonstrations, and detailed design requirements • Work on customer project teams, design and PoC labs, success criteria, and overall solution designs • Build and maintain customer and partner relationships as a trusted advisor • Potentially assume a team-lead role for account teams • Provide technical training on products with partners

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and English • Excellent presentation skills • Strong, successful pre-sales engineering track record in the industry and territory in a similar position • Sound knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching • Knowledge of IPv4/v6 routing concepts • Knowledge of overlay networking and VPNs • Knowledge of Wi-Fi operation and design • Knowledge of network security principles • Ability to work on customer project teams, design and PoC labs, set successful PoC criteria, and develop solution designs • Tenacity and perseverance as an internal customer advocate • Ability to build, develop, and maintain customer and partner networks as a trusted advisor • Willingness to assume a team-lead role when required • Experience working with partners is a plus for technical product training • Major account experience and experience closing deals • Extreme Networks certifications are desirable but not mandatory • Recognized industry certifications are a plus • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of future trends and market directions • Ability to support customer evaluations, demonstrations, and detailed design requirements • Good general hands-on lab experience • Domestic/international travel required
