📋 Description

• Sole responsibility for legal, compliance, data protection and information security matters across the group’s companies • Develop, implement and monitor compliance, data protection and information security policies • Conduct risk analyses as well as compliance and security audits • Review, draft and negotiate contracts, with a focus on data protection, liability and security clauses • Ensure compliance with the GDPR and BDSG and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures • Maintain and further develop the ISMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 • Prepare for and support certification and surveillance audits • Advise management and business units on employment, contract and corporate law matters • Train and raise awareness among employees • Process compliance inquiries and reports and support internal and external audits • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and derive recommendations for action • Serve as central contact for audits and supervisory and data protection authorities • Work closely with and provide professional guidance to the Legal & Compliance team

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in law, economics or a related field, e.g. business law, LL.B./LL.M. or business lawyer • Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) welcome but not required • Several years of professional experience in compliance, information security, data protection and/or contract management • Ideally experience in the software or technology industry • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and standards on data protection and IT security • Solid understanding of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard suite • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail • Hands-on mentality • Very good communication skills in German and English, written and spoken • Team-oriented and proactive working style • Ability to explain complex issues clearly • Knowledge of international business law is an advantage • Experience in enterprise risk management is an advantage • Knowledge of ESG reporting and sustainability standards is an advantage • Knowledge of quality and occupational health & safety management is an advantage • Practical experience with compliance and GRC tools is an advantage • Basic understanding of cyber security topics is an advantage • Experience with or willingness to be appointed as an Information Security Officer is an advantage
