📋 Description

• Perform navigational watch-standing and deck operational duties as assigned • Execute maintenance and operational work throughout the vessel as part of a multipurpose crew • Support loading, discharge, standby, and general vessel operations • Conduct cleaning, preservation, and maintenance of deck equipment and spaces • Safely operate onboard tools, equipment, and vessel systems within assigned responsibilities • Follow and promote safe work practices, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) • Participate in emergency response drills, safety meetings, and vessel readiness activities • Maintain familiarity with emergency procedures and assigned Muster List responsibilities • Support fire prevention, firefighting, man overboard, and abandon ship procedures • Identify and report hazards, near misses, and non-conformities to vessel leadership • Support implementation of the vessel Business Management System (BMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) • Ensure written and verbal tasking is clearly understood and properly executed • Promote effective teamwork and coordination between vessel departments • Support client and crew welfare during vessel operations • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of vessel operations and mission requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Valid U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) endorsed as Able Seaman appropriate to vessel requirements • Valid STCW endorsements applicable to vessel operations • Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) • Current U.S. Coast Guard medical certificate • Experience supporting operational vessel deck operations and seamanship activities • Knowledge of maritime safety procedures and emergency response requirements • Ability to work rotational schedules in maritime environments • Strong communication and teamwork skills • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance
