📋 Description

• Lead quality excellence across Fabric projects and teams • Set budgeting, recruitment and marketing targets for the QE practice with business stakeholders • Advocate for QE best practices and techniques • Mentor and coach team members and lead QE training and upskilling programs • Drive adoption of Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery best practices • Guide teams on functional and non-functional testing frameworks • Identify process improvements in quality software delivery • Contribute to the technical roadmap by identifying components and potential bottlenecks • Support and develop technical leadership capabilities within the Engineering team • Work with Delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle to embed quality • Engage in discovery and inception phases to embed quality principles • Provide hands-on expertise and support across projects • Pair with team members to enhance skills and knowledge sharing • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders • Advise clients on testing, quality processes and methodologies • Promote Fabric’s values, practices and commitment to building software right • Create and share QE thought leadership content through social media, blogs and presentations • Represent Fabric at meetups, conferences and industry forums • Mentor and coach less experienced QEs within Fabric and client organisations • Participate in recruitment and evaluation of QE professionals

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Object-oriented Programming • At least one programming language, either TypeScript or JavaScript • 7 to 8 years’ experience writing Automated Tests and building frameworks around it • Ability to create and build test plans and strategy • Experience with open-sourced automation and performance testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Webdriver, Appium and Gatling • Experience in automated API testing • Experience in test data management and test environment management • Good understanding of quality assurance processes • Experience integrating and executing tests with CI pipelines • Experience with cloud technologies: AWS, Azure or GCP • Experience testing web services in an automated fashion • Experience with XML, JSON messages and Postman • Basic understanding of DevOps practices: Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform • Experience writing SQL queries • Good collaboration, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience working in an Agile development environment • Experience coaching and mentoring team members • Strong expertise in QE best practices • Experience in Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery environments • Proficiency in functional and non-functional testing frameworks, automation and quality control processes • Proven track record of mentoring and coaching team members • Ability to identify and implement process improvements • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Experience with modern testing tools, technologies and frameworks • Passion for staying current with emerging trends in QE
