📋 Description

• Design, develop and maintain robust, modular, high-performance backend systems using Java (preferably Spring Boot); • Actively participate in defining architectures (legacy monoliths, microservices, and serverless); • Build and evolve RESTful APIs with a focus on scalability, security and performance; • Work with relational and non-relational databases; • Ensure automated test coverage and apply TDD; • Perform code reviews, pair programming and contribute to the team's technical evolution; • Apply DevOps practices across the software lifecycle (CI/CD, containers, pipelines, observability); • Contribute to engineering culture: documentation, design patterns, security and development best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java (version 8+) • Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Security; • Experience with REST APIs, domain-driven design (DDD) and layered architecture; • Strong knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB); • Experience with asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ); • Experience with Docker, containers and continuous integration; • Git and modern versioning and collaboration practices; • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.); • Practice in automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, integration, performance); • Familiarity with cloud (preferably AWS): EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.; • Previous experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.); • Strong sense of ownership, proactivity and collaboration; • English and/or Spanish is a plus.
