📋 Description

• Develop and maintain scalable, resilient RESTful APIs in Ruby on Rails • Participate in the entire development lifecycle: architecture, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and production monitoring • Work on evolving the core (monolith) and on microservices initiatives and integrations with partners, such as ERPs, payment gateways and external platforms • Ensure technical quality through code reviews, Clean Code practices, SOLID principles, and team standards • Monitor and optimize performance using APM, resource tuning, and query analysis and improvement • Work in multidisciplinary squads in an agile model (Scrum/Kanban), collaborating with engineering and product • Navigate between contexts involving TypeScript and mobile teams and workflows, maintaining a system-level perspective • Operate autonomously, taking responsibility for developing, testing, ensuring, and sustaining quality

🎯 Requirements

• Proven senior-level experience with Ruby on Rails • Strong knowledge of REST APIs (design, documentation and consumption) • Solid experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling • Experience with Git/GitHub • Strong familiarity with automated testing such as RSpec, including unit, integration and black-box tests • Experience with Cloud (AWS) • Ownership mindset: autonomy, proactivity and focus on delivering value with technical responsibility • Nice to have: Microservices architecture and messaging (AWS SNS/SQS) • Nice to have: Docker and Kubernetes • Nice to have: NoSQL databases and caches/queues such as Redis, DocumentDB, DynamoDB • Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Argo CD • Spanish not required, considered a plus • International interactions via written communication only • Position also open to candidates with disabilities (PWD)
