📋 Description

• Develop and maintain scalable, resilient RESTful APIs in Ruby on Rails • Participate in the entire development lifecycle: architecture, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and production monitoring • Contribute to the evolution of the monolithic core, as well as microservices initiatives and integrations with partners such as ERP systems, payment gateways, and external platforms • Ensure technical quality through code reviews, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and team standards • Monitor and optimize performance using APM, resource tuning, and query analysis and improvement • Work in multidisciplinary squads using agile methodologies, including Scrum/Kanban, with collaboration between engineering and product teams • Navigate across contexts and collaborate with teams and workflows using TypeScript and mobile technologies while maintaining a systems-level perspective

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated senior-level experience with Ruby on Rails • Knowledge of TypeScript • Strong command of REST APIs, including design, documentation, and consumption • Solid experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling • Experience with Git/GitHub • Strong familiarity with automated testing, such as RSpec, including unit, integration, and black-box testing • Experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS • Ownership mindset, autonomy, proactivity, and a focus on delivering value with technical accountability • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes • Knowledge of NoSQL databases and caches/queues, including Redis, DocumentDB, and DynamoDB • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, such as GitHub Actions and Argo CD • Nice to have: experience with microservices architecture and messaging, such as AWS SNS/SQS • Spanish is a plus, but not required
