📋 Description

• Join a development team working on Java APIs and microservices • Work with clients across Latin America, including critical infrastructure accounts in the financial and banking sectors • Participate in the development team’s Agile ceremonies • Design and develop APIs • Develop Java microservices with Spring Boot • Enhance and maintain APIs for accounts already in production • Migrate legacy APIs to more modern architectures • Apply secure coding best practices throughout the development lifecycle • Work simultaneously across multiple clients and business contexts • Collaborate with squads distributed across Brazil and other countries in the region • Occasionally communicate in Spanish with local stakeholders • Contribute to the maturity of the team’s processes, including technical documentation, service ownership, version control, and deployments

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Java 17+ • Experience with JUnit 5 unit testing • Experience with Docker and Docker Compose • Experience with relational and non-relational databases • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs • Experience with Spring Boot • Experience with Git • Experience with messaging tools • Experience developing cloud-native applications • Knowledge of AWS services: IAM, S3, EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, ECS, EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, and EventBridge • Knowledge of API Gateway • Intermediate to advanced Spanish proficiency • Nice to have: experience with event-driven architecture • Nice to have: knowledge of Kubernetes • Nice to have: knowledge of microservices patterns • Nice to have: knowledge of Golang • Nice to have: knowledge of JavaScript • Nice to have: knowledge of Open Finance • Preferred: advanced or fluent Spanish proficiency
