📋 Description

• Build the common connector layer that links agents to enterprise systems, including authentication, retries, idempotency, rate limiting, and observability. • Develop REST API integrations with backlog management, ITSM, ERP, documentation, and job scheduling tools, exposing them as tools for agents. • Implement integration with the mainframe environment, including JCL package generation, job submission and monitoring, approval workflows, and batch change replication, with validation, rollback, and an audit trail. • Build Python validators and parsers, including guided change completion and verification of mandatory checklists. • Ensure integration quality through automated testing, API contracts, and production monitoring. • Participate in the squad’s technical decisions and code reviews, advancing CI/CD standards in Azure DevOps. • Support intelligent automation initiatives and AI agents using Azure and AI frameworks.

🎯 Requirements

• 4–5 years of backend development experience. • Strong proficiency in Python for services, integrations, and automation, including automated testing and type annotations. • Solid experience with REST APIs, including consumption and exposure, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2 authentication, error handling, and idempotency. • Proven experience integrating with mainframe environments, including JCL, job submission and monitoring, and job change management tools. • Experience with Azure in production environments, including Azure Functions or App Service, Entra ID, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor. • Knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure as code in Azure DevOps. • Knowledge of security for integrations, including secrets management, the principle of least privilege, and audit trails. • Azure certifications, such as AZ-204 Azure Developer Associate or AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals, are a plus. • Experience with mainframe change management tools and enterprise job schedulers, such as Control-M, is a plus. • Experience integrating with Jira, Confluence, and SAP via APIs is a plus. • Familiarity with generative AI and agents, including function calling, tools, and MCP, is a plus. • Experience with observability using Dynatrace is a plus. • Experience in regulated financial-sector environments, including LGPD and BACEN requirements, is a plus. • Ability to work collaboratively, solve problems, work independently, and manage time effectively.
