• Directly manages assigned key Grocery, Drug & Military channel relationships and is responsible for account growth and retention • Develop and execute customer specific strategies aligned with the Company’s strategies and goals to deliver both sales and profit growth • Interpret key retailer POS data and market trends to develop sound solution-based recommendations • Manage and develop customer relationships with key decision makers; establish and maintain high-level, executive contact with accounts • Own business results - including revenue, trade spend, profit, and marketing execution objectives • Work collaboratively with supporting business teams and leverage cross-functional resources to deliver outlined sales objectives • Prepare and present written and oral sales presentations with customer decision makers • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reviews as needed • Negotiate customer contracts, requests for proposals and other agreements • Research and secure strategic new customers • Prepare annual account budget • Ownership of retailer monthly projections and proper forecasting within identified margin of error • Oversee disputes, and resolution processes with the Customer Service Team and Brokers
• Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience • 7+ years of direct sales experience required • Advanced knowledge of retail grocery required - must have either Publix and/or Wakefern experience • Strong existing relationships with US Retail chains • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and articulate fact-based sales opportunities • Exceptional sales skills including negotiation, account management, account penetration, strategic selling, and category management • Demonstrated track record of achieving demanding goals • Strong strategic and tactical skills and an ability to solve problems and set priorities • Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to adjust style to effectively interact with external customers and internal staff
