📋 Description

• Design and build new features for Finom's Android application used by business owners across Europe • Architect and implement solutions for multi-account cash flow management, banking transactions and payments, card issuance and control, and AI-powered accounting automation • Build polished, responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose • Own code quality, performance, and stability through automated testing and thorough code reviews • Collaborate with Backend, QA, Design, and Product teams on end-to-end solutions • Drive technical decisions within the domain and identify opportunities for improvement • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and mobile best practices • Shape architecture decisions, raise engineering quality, and mentor other engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial Android development • Strong knowledge of Kotlin; Java knowledge is a plus • Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID, and Clean Architecture • Experience with MVI, MVVM, and MVP presentation-layer patterns • Experience with RxJava and Kotlin Coroutines/Flow • Experience with Dagger 2, Hilt, or Koin • Experience with Retrofit • Experience with Cicerone or Jetpack Navigation Component • Experience with Jetpack Compose • Practical experience with Firebase, including FCM, Analytics, and Crashlytics • Experience with feature-module architecture in production • Confidence with Git/GitLab and maintaining GitLab CI/CD • Clear, concise communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences • Nice-to-have: fintech or financial products background • Nice-to-have: mobile security best practices • Nice-to-have: UI performance profiling and optimization • Nice-to-have: Android Profiler, Perfetto, Baseline Profiles, or similar • Nice-to-have: published Google Play apps • Nice-to-have: active GitHub profile • Nice-to-have: experience with AI agents, LLM tools, and AI-powered IDE tools • Nice-to-have: understanding of model capabilities and limitations • Nice-to-have: evaluating and verifying AI-generated output • Nice-to-have: awareness of AI security risks
