📋 Description

• Own day-to-day finance administration, including records management, document filing, finance mailbox monitoring, and finance systems and data hygiene • Manage accounts receivable end to end, including customer invoicing, billing accuracy, collections follow-up, cash application, and AR aging review • Manage accounts payable end to end, including vendor onboarding, invoice intake and coding, approval routing, payment runs, and corporate card and expense reconciliation • Assist in designing and implementing AR and AP processes and systems, including workflow documentation, automation, and supporting controls • Maintain the cash forecast, track actuals against forecast, flag variances, and identify upcoming cash requirements • Prepare finance and tax documentation, including tax forms and slips, sales tax filing support, audit and lender requests, KYC, and vendor documentation • Administer payroll inputs and employee expense reimbursements • Maintain supporting documentation and reconciliation files for month-end and year-end requirements • Serve as a point of contact for employees, customers, vendors, and external advisors on billing, payment, and documentation queries • Support continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate of Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field • Licensed CPA • 3-5 years of experience in a controllership, senior accounting, finance operations, or similar role • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements • Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial close processes • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) (preferred) • Familiarity with SaaS business accounting, including revenue recognition and deferred revenue (preferred) • Experience in a large, mature organization with robust accounting and internal controls frameworks and/or public accounting external audit capacity (preferred)
