📋 Description

• Supports first-line credit underwriting and portfolio management within the assigned specialized vertical • Supervises a team of underwriters and credit analysts • Oversees risk grading, loan evaluation, and portfolio monitoring to maintain credit quality • Identifies potential risks and trends, escalating key findings and recommendations to senior leadership • Collaborates with sales, risk, and credit teams to implement credit strategies • Ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business, Economics or related field • 10+ Years of 1st line of defense credit underwriting, portfolio management, and risk management experience within the Financial Industry including credit strategy and credit analytics • 3+ years of experience in managing teams of credit analysts, underwriters in the specialty vertical • 3+ years of experience in the direct specialized line of business (Specialized commercial industries, capital markets, corporate commercial banking, etc.) • Experience and expertise in credit bureaus, credit decision engines, credit and cash flow modeling for underwriting and portfolio management decisions, income/identity verification and loss forecasting.
