📋 Description

• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional and end-to-end workflows • Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and Python • Perform API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing • Validate backend data and analytics outputs using SQL • Test data-intensive applications, including data pipelines and ETL workflows • Identify test scenarios suitable for automation based on risk, business impact, and coverage • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins • Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and work closely with developers to resolve issues • Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution using Jira or similar tools • Perform manual testing for scenarios that cannot be effectively automated • Support validation and root-cause analysis of production issues • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Analytics teams to understand requirements and ensure product quality • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and overall software quality • Own quality end-to-end, build and maintain automation independently, troubleshoot failures, and validate complex data workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in QA automation / SDET roles • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright • Strong programming skills in Python • Strong experience with API and UI testing • Experience testing data-heavy, analytics, or SaaS applications • Strong SQL skills for backend/data validation • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows • Practical experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and continuous integration practices • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Nice to have: experience with pytest • Nice to have: experience with Ginkgo / Go and BDD-style testing • Nice to have: experience with Golang • Nice to have: experience with ETL/data pipeline testing • Nice to have: experience with AWS, Terraform, and VPC • Nice to have: experience with Jenkins or similar CI tools • Nice to have: experience with Jira or similar defect management tools
