• Startup scouting & research: You find startups that few others know about — in rural areas, off the usual platforms. • You develop an instinct for where exciting founding teams emerge. • Active research via LinkedIn, local networks, universities, funding programs and events. • Identification of suitable startups according to our program criteria. • Communication & relationship building: You are one of Founders Bay's first points of contact for many founders. • You proactively reach out, conduct initial conversations, and guide them through the application process. • Initial outreach via email, LinkedIn, etc. — including cold outreach. • Conducting initial calls and qualification interviews with founding teams. • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant founder communities and local networks. • Deal flow process & screening: You structure incoming applications and help keep track of who fits, who doesn't, and why. • Evaluation and pre-qualification of incoming applications according to clear criteria. • Maintenance and documentation in the CRM (Notion / Airtable). • Automation — together with us. • We want to gradually automate the deal flow process with AI — and you will help build that.
• You are enrolled at a university as a registered student and/or have already gained initial experience in high-growth startups or other high-performance environments such as strategy consulting, investment banking, or venture capital. • You have a strong affinity for impact trends, innovation and technologies. • Strong communication skills and enjoyment in approaching unfamiliar people — even without warm introductions. • You like working independently and are highly results-oriented. • Experience with tools such as Claude, Perplexity, Make / n8n, Notion, Slack. • Affinity for impact topics, innovation and rural development is an advantage.
