📋 Description

• Own Events & Commerce within the broader In-Person Giving product line • Turn customer research, market evidence, and business context into a product thesis and sequenced roadmap • Choose a focused target segment and event scenario • Decide which capabilities belong in shared In-Person Giving foundations versus an Events-specific model • Lead discovery with nonprofit fundraising teams, event operators, finance teams, volunteers, attendees, donors, design partners, and internal GTM teams • Map end-to-end event workflows including purchase, donation, check-in, fulfillment, reconciliation, reporting, and follow-up • Validate decisions through interviews, workflow observation, prototypes, and live product usage • Own product delivery from problem definition through requirements, launch, and iteration • Write requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, state transitions, and decision records • Make scope and trade-off decisions with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Research, QA, and GTM partners • Design for mobile devices, optional hardware, unreliable connectivity, high-volume moments, and operational recovery • Reuse existing payments, campaign, donor, reporting, CRM, and identity infrastructure • Launch through EAPs with defined criteria, workflows, success measures, and readiness requirements • Measure activation, adoption, event completion, GPV, expansion, pipeline, retention, and operational cost • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, CSM, Support, Finance, Legal, and Operations on launch readiness • Use AI for research synthesis, workflow analysis, prototyping, specification quality, data exploration, and operational automation

🎯 Requirements

• 4–7 years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience in a software product company • End-to-end ownership of a customer-facing product area with Engineering and Design • Strong judgment in reducing a large problem space to a focused release and explaining trade-offs • Experience turning customer evidence and product data into decisions • Clear written communication across requirements, edge cases, metrics, and decision records • Ability to work with transactional, multi-actor workflows involving permissions, states, money, and data relationships • High ownership and independence • Fluent written and spoken English • Strong plus: experience with ticketing, event technology, commerce, POS, payments, marketplaces, registration, auctions, or transaction-heavy products • Strong plus: experience with mobile applications, contactless payments, physical devices, or hardware-enabled workflows • Strong plus: experience with B2B SaaS, fundraising, nonprofits, or operationally complex customer environments • Strong plus: experience launching a new product area through beta or EAP • Strong plus: knowledge of CRM integrations, financial reconciliation, reporting, transaction attribution, analytics, or SQL • Strong plus: practical use of AI for research, prototyping, analysis, or product operations
