📋 Description

• Source and originate Ready-to-Build solar and BESS projects through developers, landowners and industry networks • Lead technical, grid, planning and commercial due diligence on acquisition opportunities • Drive transactions end to end, from first conversation through negotiation and close • Assess project risks across grid connection, permitting, land and construction readiness • Lead selective greenfield solar and BESS projects from site identification through Ready-to-Build • Work with the technical team to develop grid connection strategies with AEMO, DNSPs and TNSPs • Build relationships with developers, advisors, landowners and stakeholders across the Australian market • Ensure acquired and developed projects are deliverable, scalable and ready for construction

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in utility-scale solar, BESS or renewable energy development, acquisitions or M&A • Track record of originating, assessing or closing renewable energy project transactions • Strong understanding of Australian grid connection processes, including AEMO, DNSPs and state approvals • Solid technical and commercial understanding of solar PV and battery storage projects • Exceptionally driven and high agency, with a history of making things happen without direction • Comfortable operating at pace in an ambiguous, early-stage environment • Strong network across Australian developers, landowners and industry stakeholders is a plus
