📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain and enhance Golang microservices and frontend applications • Deliver performant customer interfaces driven by the design system • Improve the performance and observability of services and applications • Improve team and business quality of life through automation, process improvement or new technologies • Collect, process and verify large amounts of financial data describing cross-border payments • Serve financial data to users so they can make informed business decisions • Interact with stakeholders across the business and collaborate with a technical team of approximately 30 technologists • Report to the Lead Software Engineer

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to write Golang services and web app backends and deploy them in Docker containers • Ability to build componentised application frontends in React/TypeScript • Proficiency in performant SQL • Understanding of clean code principles and TypeScript and Go idioms • Ability to review code and establish team quality standards • Ability to learn and engage with a new business domain and product • Ability to communicate complex topics to peers • Ability to discuss how you learn and improve your skills • Monday-Friday availability during 9-5 EST/EDT hours • Potential on-call support required • Experience with concurrent logic, such as goroutines, is helpful but not essential • Experience building CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitLab CI, is helpful but not essential • Experience configuring observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is helpful but not essential • Experience using AI to increase productivity and productionise AI tools is helpful but not essential • Experience with MaterialUI, Airflow, Python or Terraform is helpful but not essential
