📋 Description

• Support operational teams throughout all project phases, ensuring compliance with EHS requirements, risk assessments, and corporate and legal safety procedures; • Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the GE Vernova EHS Management System, ensuring adherence to corporate standards and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications; • Conduct audits, field inspections, Genba Walks, incident investigations, and follow-up on preventive and corrective action plans; • Manage contractor safety requirements, pre-mobilization processes, risk assessments, mandatory training, and documentation compliance; • Deliver EHS training programs, monitor key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to leadership while promoting best practices and a strong safety culture.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related technical field; • Solid experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), preferably within the energy sector, including generation, transmission, distribution, or O&M activities; • Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations, incident investigation methodologies, risk assessments, EHS management systems, and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards; • Experience in Electrical Safety, Energy Isolation requirements, contractor management, and implementation of field risk control measures; • Fluent English and availability to travel across Latin America; Spanish proficiency will be considered a plus.
