• Provide legal advice on labor and employment related litigation, laws, regulations, rules, and orders for the Company on a global basis. • Provide day-to-day advice to assist the Company in managing and mitigating labor and employment risks. • Serve as a subject matter expert for employment matters globally. • Partner closely with Human Resources and People Leaders to provide day-to-day legal guidance regarding the full employee lifecycle. • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring practices and onboarding issues. • Draft, review, and negotiate separation, severance, and release agreements. • Train managers and HR professionals on employment law topics and best practices. • Manage and oversee employment-related litigation, agency charges, audits, and investigations. • Conduct and/or oversee internal investigations and advise on appropriate remedial action. • Support merger and acquisition transactions.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar • At least 8 years of experience practicing employment law, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience • Confident attorney with demonstrated experience managing a broad range of legal issues • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with sound judgment, diplomacy, and discretion • Strong track record of working effectively with senior Human Resources and operational leaders • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels within an organization
