📋 Description

• Design and enforce Snowflake security frameworks covering RBAC, network policies, authentication policies, and dynamic data masking • Architect Snowflake cost optimization strategies involving warehouse sizing, compute virtualization, resource monitors, query tagging, and reserved capacity planning • Implement row-level access policies, column-level masking, PII object tagging, and Access History audit trails • Integrate Okta with Snowflake via SCIM and maintain scalable role hierarchies • Build and maintain Terraform/IaC configurations across environments • Design automated access request, approval, and certification workflows through CI/CD pipelines • Develop governance monitoring pipelines for real-time access anomalies and policy violations • Execute SOX controls, generate audit-ready access reports, and maintain evidence packages • Automate compliance evidence collection and continuous compliance validation • Architect secure data sharing across Snowflake, Iceberg, and AWS services • Support Airflow (MWAA), Lambda, and EventBridge data orchestration with governance controls • Ensure consistent governance for Iceberg tables across multi-engine data architectures • Establish governance foundations for Snowflake AI and ML capabilities • Drive cost observability through resource monitors, alerts, and query tagging • Maintain platform reliability and enable self-service access as the technical governance resource

🎯 Requirements

• Snowflake mastery: RBAC design, row-level security, dynamic data masking, network/authentication policies, resource monitors, Access History • Hands-on Terraform/IaC experience • AWS cloud platform experience, including S3 Storage Integrations, IAM trust policies, and multi-engine data architectures • Identity and access management experience with scalable RBAC hierarchies, federated authentication, and Okta/SCIM integration • SOX or SOC 2 compliance program support experience; audit evidence and control documentation expertise • SQL for access auditing and governance reporting • Experience with Iceberg table formats and schema evolution • Python or equivalent scripting experience • Experience with Airflow, Lambda, or EventBridge • Exposure to Snowflake AI/ML, including Cortex, Agents, or Snowpark ML • Experience with Alation, Collibra, or similar metadata automation tools • GitHub workflows for infrastructure changes and governance testing • Track record building enterprise data governance cultures and change management at scale
