• As a Deployment Specialist, you will provide on-site and remote professional services to Genetec clients and partners. • You will be responsible for advising, installing, maintaining, and supporting the various Genetec solutions remotely and on-site for Genetec customers located in North America. • Perform installation, auditing, assessment, maintenance, and support of Genetec systems at customer sites. • Serve as the primary technical point of contact, on-site and remotely, for key projects with Genetec partners. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. • Accurately document all activities and issues encountered in Genetec systems. • Ensure timely escalation of critical customer-related issues through the appropriate channels. • Provide functional requirements based on customer feedback to facilitate product improvement. • Offer an open forum for questions regarding strategic plans, best practices, and guidance on updates, specific concerns, and ad hoc advice for software implementation, integration, and training, as well as change requests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (attention to detail). • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to listen and adapt to different personalities and situations. • Comfortable engaging with key stakeholders at enterprise accounts in sensitive situations. • Good organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment. • Valid driver's license and passport. • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken (this role requires interactions with our international colleagues and clients). • Deployment and troubleshooting of security systems such as: video surveillance systems (VMS, IP cameras and encoders, video analytics, etc.) and access control systems (software configuration, readers, controllers, wiring, etc.). • Strong knowledge of administration and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems and services (Active Directory, SQL, file sharing, IIS, clustering, GPO, performance monitoring, etc.). • Excellent understanding of networking principles and IP protocols. • Experience configuring and troubleshooting network equipment (switches, routers, etc.). • Understanding of network storage concepts and best practices (SAN, NAS, iSCSI). • Skills in querying and managing databases. • Understanding of server virtualization concepts. • Experience with encryption and certificates. • Experience with PowerShell is an asset.
