📋 Description

• Perform electrical takeoffs from digital drawings, blueprints, and project documents • Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive bid proposals • Complete and manage RFQs, including revisions and updates • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and project information • Support pre-construction planning and estimating activities • Work within the company's workflows and estimating processes as a remote team member • Manage estimating functions efficiently to support a growing construction company

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical estimating • 3–10+ years of hands-on electrical estimating experience for U.S. construction projects • Fluent spoken and written English • Strong understanding of electrical estimating workflows and industry best practices • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment • Highly detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in takeoffs and pricing • Experience with digital takeoff software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or similar platforms • Proven ability to manage estimating functions efficiently for growing construction companies • Strong communication skills coordinating across vendors, subcontractors, and project teams • Background estimating light commercial and small industrial electrical projects • Availability to work 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Eastern Time • Ability to work full-time remotely and integrate into the company's systems
