• Develop business opportunities and lead large-scale campaigns to win new markets and generate revenue • Negotiate and close complex, high-value contracts • Communicate with, train, and support the regional sales team • Identify new opportunities by combining GE’s HVDC and FACTS services portfolio • Develop customer-focused solutions to resolve client challenges • Prepare, manage, and report progress on the annual operating plan
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience • Proven experience in leadership roles within services, sales, and bids/proposals, managing multi-million-dollar budgets • More than 10 years of experience in services, sales, application engineering and/or marketing related to the power grid industry • Travel: approximately 40% as required by the business • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze data to develop bid strategies • Ability to communicate transparently with management about issues encountered
