📋 Description

• Lead the legal strategy for high-stakes tenders and advise on deal structures • Draft and negotiate complex agreements with private and government entities • Provide ongoing legal support for EPC, turnkey, LTSA, and O&M mega-projects • Partner with Contract and Project Management teams on amendments, variation orders, and claims management • Manage regional disputes using litigation, arbitration, mediation, or settlement negotiation • Advise on legal and regulatory compliance across France, the EU, and SEMEA • Collaborate with EHS, IP, HR, and Compliance teams to develop best practices • Create and deliver legal training materials • Contribute to standardized legal templates and tools • Travel within SEMEA to support project sites, conduct face-to-face negotiations, and engage regional stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• LL.B., JD, or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school • Must be an Avocat in France or a member in good standing of the bar in a relevant jurisdiction • Minimum of 6 years of experience • Experience as in-house counsel or within a top-tier law firm preferred • Demonstrated experience in complex cross-border commercial transactions in energy, construction, or infrastructure • Extensive experience in claims management and dispute resolution • Fluency in French and English mandatory • Additional European languages or Arabic highly desirable • Ability to influence leadership in a complex, international, matrixed organization • Proactive ability to handle ambiguity, rapid change, and high-pressure deadlines • Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to simplifying complex legal issues • Comfort using legal AI tools and process-simplification methodologies • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills across diverse cultural and geographic backgrounds • Ability and willingness to travel within SEMEA approximately 25% of the time
