📋 Description

• Support development and execution strategies within the assigned spend category, including Travel, Fleet, and Meetings & Events • Extract and analyze travel expense data to identify trends, leakage, and cost-saving opportunities • Assist with RFPs/RFIs for airline, hotel, and travel management company partnerships • Track and report supplier compliance, performance metrics, and service-level agreements • Conduct market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive travel programs • Maintain contract-term documentation and savings trackers; prepare leadership reports • Partner with Finance, HR, Global Mobility, Compliance, and other stakeholders on travel policies and processes • Identify sourcing-lifecycle bottlenecks and propose process improvements • Collaborate with Indirect Sourcing teams and internal stakeholders on Travel processes, methodologies, and supplier management • Develop best-in-class analytics for the assigned spend category • Own relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, including TMCs, online booking tools, airlines, and hotels • Support end-to-end corporate sourcing processes, including hedging strategy and trigger points • Partner with TMC supplier consulting teams on tactical sourcing activities and negotiated rates for GE Vernova travelers • Drive benchmarking, best practices, continuous improvement, and change delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in leading organizational, process, and culture change • Strong experience within the assigned spend category • For roles not in USA, this role requires significant experience comparable to a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience/ knowledge from an accredited university or college • For roles in USA, this role requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with major experience in job family group/function), or equivalent experience/ knowledge • Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience/ knowledge • Strong experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools • Strong analytical/problem solving skills • Deep understanding and hands on experience with AI tools and ability to implement solutions that meet organizational needs • Sourcing or Analytics experience in a multinational company • Comfortable with a broad range of research tools and technologies, analytics, and financial analysis • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Strong project management skills • Thought leader, experience with external benchmarking to drive next level process improvements • Strong track record for implementing change and delivering results
