📋 Description

• Develop and execute the lean roadmap for the materials organization • Collaborate with suppliers and buyers to integrate them into the Pull/replenishment systems • Facilitate regular communication and feedback loops between the internal factory and external suppliers • Own supplier priorities for parts on pull and schedule attainment • Responsible for continuous improvement plans for materials lean systems including VSMs • Coach teams from front line to executives on lean materials systems • Plan and deliver projects & initiatives aligned to the roadmap • Accountable for daily management and problem solving to keep team on target

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma /GED with at least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing) • Minimum of 5 additional years in Lean and/or Materials • Lean Materials experience including but not limited to: standard work, material presentation, supermarkets, flow, pull, waterspider routes, heijunka, and kanban • Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing and inventory management • Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent quality certification
