📋 Description

• Overseeing sales of the full Grid Automation (GA) portfolio, including products, services, solutions, and projects • Developing market strategies for DACH (acting as team lead for DACH), Eastern Europe, and CIS regions in collaboration with local sales teams and leaders • Managing forecasts in Salesforce (CRP), delivering order intake and margin targets • Leading GA Sales Managers and Specialists, aligning them with regional strategy, business plans, and policies — approximately 20 FTEs across all countries • Supporting the P&L leader in transforming the sales teams into a more software- and services-oriented organization, identifying customers’ and industry businesses’ digitization needs • Shaping go-to-market strategies, negotiating agreements, supporting tender managers, and driving customer negotiations • Identifying new opportunities, supporting digital transformation toward software/services sales, and fostering innovation with partners • Supporting Tender Managers in structuring deals, assessing technical and commercial risks, defining pricing, and developing proposals • Interpreting internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices to improve products, processes, or services

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or college, with a commercial focus • Strong commercial awareness, in-depth specialist knowledge, and leadership skills to manage teams, interpret challenges, influence strategy, and communicate complex concepts effectively • Solid previous experience in product and/or software sales within the energy sector, with commercial customer knowledge and established relationships • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a sales team in a large international environment • Ability to understand and improve processes in a cross-functional environment • Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus • Knowledge of pricing, cost and product accounting, and strong analytical skills • Experience conducting market assessments and implementing commercial strategies to enable market penetration • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (primarily within DACH & Poland, with some international travel)
