📋 Description

• You will lead our activities at the onshore converter station for our HVDC project Ostwind 4 near Greifswald. • You are our on-site representative and the local point of contact for our client, coordinating your construction site team and our subcontractors for civil works and installation services. • Mobilization: Coordinate mobilization of site personnel together with internal departments and subcontractors, and plan site setup. • Health & Safety: Plan and coordinate all on-site work in compliance with applicable occupational health, environmental, and safety regulations, and contribute to the preparation of work and safety instructions. • Site management: Lead all site activities, including supervision of subcontractors for civil and installation works, to ensure smooth site operations. • Communication: Serve as the contact person for our client and lead construction meetings. • Control & reporting: Monitor quality, costs, and schedules during construction execution and report accordingly to project management. • Opportunities & risks: Identify and manage risks and opportunities related to site activities and report them to project management.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering with several years of professional experience. • Experience as a site manager in substation projects or comparable projects (e.g., oil & gas, power plants), or experience in the installation of high-voltage components is desirable. • Strong EHS awareness according to international standards; the ability to identify and stop unsafe work is required. • Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to report clearly. • Lean mindset: Open to further training, new tools, and continuous improvement. • Willingness to travel within Germany. • Very good German and English skills, spoken and written. • Driver's license class B (car).
