• Establishing yourself as a single point of contact by demonstrating personal ownership and accountability, leadership experience, technical aptitude, professional communications, financial acumen, and situational ownership as exemplified by your ability to rigorously plan and successfully deliver nuclear outages and projects to a high standard of safety, quality, schedule compliance, profitability, and high customer satisfaction. • SME for install/maintenance services during R process. Attend pre-proposal and negotiation meetings, develop scope and schedule, loadboard, JCE, tooling, quotes, parts, resources, deliverables. • Job Site/Outage planning PRIOR to mobilize. Generate JIS, Labor and Specialty Service requests. Coordinate Design Eng. / Customer coord / Pre Site work (T-12, T-6) / Coordinate Lean Outage Risk and Protectivity (LORaP) workshops. • Request internal and external POs. Outage Planning: Work order task plans, considering safety requirements, equipment availability, parts on hand, tooling, specialty services and resources. • Ensure Development One EHS plan upon site mobilization prior to outage start. Development and management of costs with ongoing estimates to completion. • Development, planning and management of the project schedules and payment milestones, while providing contingency planning where required, to ensure a timely execution. • Risk and Opportunity management. Ensuring that all risks and issues are identified, and mitigation plans developed. Issue resolution during project execution – includes Safety/HOP/Quality/FME/Generate NCR’s/Parts/Product Service/Engineering/Controls/Commercial etc. • To provide accurate management reports of all assigned projects Ensure all project authorization is secured both technically and financially. • To communicate effectively with all the stakeholders, both internal and external. • Manage the Scope Change Authorization process for all assigned projects. • Provide project leadership and guidance from project conception through to project delivery; to the customer and to conduct project feedback reviews at the appropriate time. • It is expected that this position will act as the focus on project-based activities and perform other related duties as assigned or requested • Ensure completion of project field services report, execution of ETC 127 process for engineering documentation of changes, Generate POR Document, Project close out, generate, BP, LL’s and OE summary. Maintain excellent relations with customers and peers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College OR (a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a customer-facing role OR an associate degree and a minimum of 15 years of experience in a customer-facing role) • At least 5 additional years of experience in a customer facing role in the power generation industry. • Willingness and ability to relocate to Bowmanville, ON to maintain daily site physical presence and interaction with customer team during outages as well as during non-outage time. • Willingness and ability to respond to customer issues regardless of day and time. • The ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access at a Darlington nuclear facility. • Experience with Alstom BBC steam turbine and generator maintenance is a must
