📋 Description

• Advise customers on the full Grid Automation portfolio, particularly Digital Control Systems, cybersecurity, patch management, and IED asset management • Represent GE Vernova to customers as a technology and business partner • Independently analyze and resolve customer inquiries • Support the Commercial and Sales organizations with technical solutions, product presentations, technical negotiations, and formal proposals • Take technical ownership of assigned tenders, from solution architecture through compliance verification • Drive competitive, compliant proposals throughout the entire bidding process • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and conferences as required • Support commercial teams in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland on technical Grid Automation topics

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, power engineering, automation engineering, or a comparable technical field; alternatively, completed vocational advanced training as an electrical engineering technician or master craftsperson, or in a related technical field • Strong knowledge of power system protection and/or Substation Control Systems in transmission and distribution networks • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and software environments (DCS / SCADA / remote access) • Working knowledge of power system protection, substation automation, and telecontrol technology (RTUs) to support customers in selecting and implementing suitable solutions • Very good written and spoken German and English • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally • Experience with IEC 61850-based substation automation solutions is preferred • Experience with network protocols, HMI systems, and relevant software packages
