📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of sales technology solutions for the distribution of equity derivatives and structured products. • Architect and take ownership of a scalable order management system (OMS) for equity derivatives, covering the full order lifecycle. • Architect and build integrations with SIMON, Luma, Evooq, OTCX, Halo, and CAIS. • Drive the adoption of digital distribution channels and self-service tools. • Manage Bloomberg structured note contribution workflows and secondary-market price publishing via BSYM/BBGID. • Design and own SQL schemas and MongoDB models for trading data, product catalogs, client activity, and reporting. • Evaluate, integrate, and manage relationships with third-party technology vendors. • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk teams to meet regulatory requirements, such as MiFID II. • Define and enforce coding, architecture, and best-practice standards across sales technology. • Mentor junior engineers and business analysts. • Monitor performance, manage incident response, and ensure the reliability of production systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience, preferably in capital markets or financial services environments. • Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and Java, with the ability to deliver full-stack solutions in both languages. • In-depth understanding of equity derivatives, including structured notes, autocallables, barrier options, and equity-linked products. • Proven experience with structured-product distribution platforms: SIMON, Luma, Evooq, OTCX, Halo, and/or CAIS. • Proven experience managing Bloomberg structured-note contribution workflows, publishing secondary-market prices, working with BSYM/BBGID identifiers, and integrating with the Bloomberg Terminal. • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with FIX or other financial messaging protocols. • Strong proficiency with relational and document-oriented databases. • Solid understanding of the trading lifecycle, order management, and structured-product workflows. • Proven track record of leading technical delivery in an Agile environment. • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to engage sales, trading, and senior stakeholders. • Commitment to mentoring junior engineers and analysts. • Pragmatic, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership of delivery in a high-pressure production environment. • Ability to collaborate effectively with compliance, legal, and risk teams. • Structured and analytical thinker capable of translating business requirements into technical designs. • Advanced/fluent English. • Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, additional structured-product platforms, rates/credit/FX-linked products, CI/CD, DevOps, data engineering, ETL, FIX implementations in OMSs, and regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank and SEC Reg BI.
