📋 Description

• Develop and evolve HTTP routing services with authentication via Azure AD/Entra ID, shard map lookup and routing to the correct cell in AKS • Implement event routing using Azure Event Hubs with idempotency, cell-based consumer groups, dead-letter queues and correlation IDs • Develop the data access layer using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB and Azure Cache for Redis • Implement versioned REST or gRPC APIs for the Control Plane • Ensure high availability with circuit breakers, retries with backoff, fallback to local cache and static stability • Design and implement database migrations with Flyway or Liquibase integrated into the deployment pipeline • Provide technical leadership for the backend team, performing code reviews, defining architectural standards, producing ADRs and supporting technical estimations • Collaborate with Architecture and DevOps teams to evolve the solution • Define deployment pipelines on AKS using ArgoCD/GitOps, including health checks, rollback and configuration management • Implement observability with Datadog, including APM, metrics, logs and distributed traces

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Java, Go or Kotlin in high-availability distributed applications • Experience as a Tech Lead for backend teams • Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, data modeling, sharding and performance optimization • Knowledge of Azure Event Hubs or Service Bus, including consumer groups, idempotency and dead-letter queues • Experience with Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Key Vault and secrets management • Knowledge of AKS, Docker, application deployment, health checks and container lifecycle • Experience with ArgoCD, GitOps and CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge of observability using Datadog (APM, logs and distributed traces) • Experience defining REST or gRPC APIs and resilient architectures • Preferred: Experience with Cell-Based Architecture or distributed systems with sharding • Preferred: Knowledge of AWS services (Aurora, DynamoDB, MSK and ElastiCache) • Preferred: Experience with Go in high-performance, low-latency services • Preferred: Involvement in technical pre-sales and proposal development • Preferred: AZ-204, CKA or equivalent certifications • Technologies: Java 8+, Go, Kotlin, Microsoft Azure, AKS, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Event Hubs, Redis, Key Vault, ArgoCD, GitOps and Datadog • Problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and manage your own time
