📋 Description

• Advise on regulatory and compliance-related issues, particularly in the context of Non-Financial Risk Management and financial-sector-specific regulations such as KYC/AML, MiFID II and WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). • Current topics include DORA, AIFMD II / LMT, NIS2 and the EU AI Act. • Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and derive concrete actions and remediation steps for our clients. • Design and implement practical solutions to ensure and operationalize regulatory requirements (e.g., governance models, control systems, process and IT adjustments). • Perform risk and gap analyses to assess regulatory compliance. • Analyze and manage non-financial risks (Non-Financial Risk Management), in particular Information Security Management (ISM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), ICT and third‑party risks, as well as compliance and reputational risks. • Provide operational line support during projects, for capacity bottlenecks or as interim management. • Depending on experience level: assume responsibility for sub-projects or independently lead complex projects, including team leadership, quality assurance and client communication. • Develop and further refine methods, frameworks and tools in the area of Regulatory & Compliance. • Help shape the Governance, Risk & Compliance competence area at Eraneos.

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed university degree (e.g., Economics, Finance, Law, Industrial Engineering or similar). • Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in the financial services environment, preferably in consulting or within the financial services industry with a regulatory or compliance focus. • Solid knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Non-Financial Risk Management, ISM, BCM, outsourcing/third‑party management, Compliance, securities regulation, IT security and AI regulation. • Analytical and structured thinking with strong problem‑solving skills. • Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for project work. • Very good German and English language skills. • Consultant‑typical willingness to travel.
