📋 Description

• Advise GitLab prospects and customers on how the DevSecOps platform addresses technical requirements and business objectives across the software development lifecycle • Guide organizations through digital transformation journeys from planning through monitoring • Own technical evaluations, including proof of value initiatives and workshops • Shape solution architectures and provide solution guidance • Partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams across Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing • Drive successful platform adoption and influence revenue growth through solution selling • Formulate and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue targets • Educate SMB customers on GitLab’s value proposition and support successful deployments • Lead POC/POV ownership, RFP/audit support, workshop design, and value stream assessments • Build customer relationships and enable GitLab advocates • Serve as the customer advocate to Product Development, Sales, and Marketing • Develop professional and technical skills through training, reading, mentorship, and certification • Maintain specialty competency and create reusable technical examples for internal teams, customers, and partners

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience engaging customers in pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles • Experience or eagerness to understand the end-to-end software development lifecycle, modern DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD workflows • Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies • Ability to lead proofs of concept/value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments • Clear technical communication and presentation skills adaptable from practitioners to senior business and technical decision-makers • Skill in building trusted relationships, listening with empathy, and acting as a customer advocate • Motivation for continuous professional development and learning new technologies • German or French language fluency (desirable)
