📋 Description

• Join the development team, taking on work items for implementation each Sprint • Perform multidisciplinary software development activities, including requirements, analysis and design, programming, configuration management, testing and deployment • Focus on product quality and maintainability • Manage own work and promptly flag delays or impediments to the team • Develop and maintain features for a solution used daily by thousands of users at large companies • Work on financial systems development, enterprise system integration and microservices architecture • Implement continuous integration, continuous delivery, DevOps practices and test automation • Develop, test, deploy and evolve Java applications — web, responsive and PWA • Work with containers, Kubernetes, databases, messaging, APIs, web services and migrating monoliths to microservices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering or another IT field • Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in any area plus a specialization in Information Technology • Knowledge of financial systems development • Understanding of agile development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP) and Kanban • Knowledge of continuous integration/delivery and DevOps practices • Experience with Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus and Azure DevOps Services (ADS) • Knowledge and experience in configuration and change management using ClearCase, SVN and Git • Knowledge of functional, non-functional and agile requirements • Knowledge of design patterns, programming best practices and enterprise systems integration • Knowledge of microservices architecture and development, including tracing, APIs, fault tolerance, metrics and health checks • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Knowledge of relational data modeling, layered architecture and MVC • Knowledge of messaging, JMS, WebSphere Message Broker, REST, SOA and EJB 3 • Knowledge of Java Swing, Java for Web, JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Apache Velocity and Spring • Knowledge of JSF, JPA, Struts, JBoss, WebSphere, Liberty and Quarkus • Knowledge of Linux, SonarQube, SQL, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant and Apache Maven • Skills in MUMPS, Caché database, OpenVMS and/or Linux • Desirable knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP and APIs • Skills in Delphi, Enterprise PowerBuilder and UNIX-like solutions • Experience with ISO 8583 message routing • Knowledge of financial technologies J/XFS, CWA, FDI and peripheral integration • Experience with cryptography • Desired certifications: Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher), CSD or PSD
