📋 Description

• Build media servers supporting GoTo Meeting, GoTo Webinar, and GoTo Connect • Design, develop, test, and operate the session control backend • Build and develop services primarily using NodeJS and TypeScript • Work with additional technologies such as C++ • Use container and cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Linux, and Docker • Apply DevOps principles and infrastructure-as-code practices • Take shared ownership of feature delivery and service operations, including on-call responsibilities • Deliver features end-to-end using modern agile software craftsmanship principles • Collaborate with peers within and outside the RTC team • Collaborate with engineering teams across Germany, Canada, and India in a distributed development environment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field • 2–5 years of working experience in software engineering • Experience building NodeJS-based microservices using TypeScript in cloud environments such as AWS • Strong understanding of distributed systems • Hands-on experience with Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and bash scripting • Familiarity with networking and communication protocols such as HTTP, WebSockets, RTP, SIP, TCP/UDP, or WebRTC • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Continuous learning mindset • Enjoy working as part of a supportive, agile team
