📋 Description

• Manage and develop backend and frontend engineers • Provide regular feedback and support career growth through career conversations • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to support customers and prospects through their Observability collection journey • Partner with product and engineering leadership on Fleet Management, the Kubernetes Helm Chart, and the Instrumentation Hub • Guide projects from ideation through planning, execution, and post-launch • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality results • Foster psychological safety, learning, experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement • Contribute across team boundaries and partner with other functions to solve customer problems

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Observability, especially OpenTelemetry, or building a central control plane that manages fleets of collectors is a strong advantage • Comfortable working with autonomous engineering teams in technical and product decision-making • Up-to-date understanding of technical trends and the challenges engineering teams face • Comfortable collaborating across time zones and cultures in a fully remote environment • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, align stakeholders, and elevate team performance • Deep customer focus and ability to ground decisions in user needs and real-world impact • Solid understanding of distributed systems principles, including scalability, fault tolerance, consistency, and observability • Comfortable using AI-assisted tooling; practical experience incorporating AI-powered tools into a team's workflow is ideally expected
