📋 Description

• Code new features, enhance the operational experience of developed systems, and iteratively improve them using production insights • Author, contribute to, and review design documents • Take an active role in shaping the roadmap • Mentor and support team members and collaborate with teams across the organization • Own the customer experience by participating in weekday 12h x 5d and separate weekend 24h x 2d on-call rotations • Refactor Grafana’s core architecture for multi-tenancy, scalability, and standardized operation • Plan and roll out changes safely to avoid service disruptions • Build a platform enabling OSS and proprietary apps to integrate with dashboards, alerts, incidents, and telemetry

🎯 Requirements

• Strong coding skills and operational experience operating software you have built • Experience working on a SaaS platform • Experience with distributed systems problems, including scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability and willingness to work across teams and align plans with squads and external stakeholders • Pragmatic approach, prioritizing progress over perfection and handling ambiguity • Familiarity with Golang or enthusiasm to learn it
