• Drive sales generation and foster market expansion within the designated territory. • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to ensure a robust lead pipeline and effective lead nurturing. • Lead pursuit teams for larger-scale opportunities, orchestrating efforts for comprehensive client engagement. • Guide and educate prospects through the purchasing journey, providing insights and assistance as needed. • Coordinate internal resources, including sales support, marketing, and solution consultants. • Oversee all aspects of sales activities within the assigned territory, from prospecting to contract negotiation. • Maintain meticulous documentation of all interactions and correspondence in Salesforce.
• Professional, customer-centric sales experience in local government. • Previous experience successfully prospecting over a large geographical region. • Proven track record in sales generation and market expansion. • Ability to communicate compelling value propositions to prospective clients. • Strong CRM skills, especially with Salesforce. • Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy. • Experience in navigating complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders. • Comfortable leveraging technology tools for sales enhancement. • Ability to prepare and deliver business reviews to management. • Willingness to travel approximately 30-40% of the time to engage with clients.
