âą Significant experience in the power market (typically 5+ years), from one of: energy consulting, trading (utility, IPP or fund), or strategy / corporate development inside an energy company âą Demonstrated track record of identifying and pursuing new commercial opportunities; entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in ambiguous early-stage work âą Strong network in the UK and / or European power market across suppliers, traders, generators, optimisers and regulators âą Strategic thinker who can move quickly from market signal to thesis to validated test âą Hands-on technical capability; comfortable using modern AI tooling (Claude, Cursor, Replit and similar) to build prototypes and demos independently âą Strong commercial instincts and willingness to do early sales independently âą Stellar communication and organisational skills.
