• Effectively manage revenue channels in a geographical territory to maximize revenue and profit margins • Develop market direct sales strategies via face-to-face interactions to provide the best possible customer experience • Establish and manage a profitable distribution network and National Accounts within territory • Manage and grow existing direct sales customer base and prospects through phone, direct mail, email, inside sales coordination, and in-person contact • Perform on-site product demonstrations, training and meetings with customers and prospects • Manage existing distributors and develop new distribution partners through sales training and support • Maintain Gray product knowledge and continue education of key markets to develop customer solutions • Provide parts and service knowledge of all Gray equipment to customers • Utilize CRM program to keep clear, concise, accurate account records • Participate in and lead trade show events • Create and maintain sales pipeline to meet or exceed all sales key measure metrics • Travel with various products to pick up, deliver, and perform product repairs as needed • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and performing the job in a safe manner

🎯 Requirements

• Five years of outside sales experience • BSBA degree preferred • Ability to read, write and converse in the English language in all forms of communication; Bilingual preferred • Ability to operate a computer sufficient enough to develop customer quotes, maintain CRM and interface with ERP system • Capable of acquiring superior knowledge of the Gray product line and product history • Proven negotiation skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong math aptitude • Superior work ethic and personal integrity • Reliable and trustworthy working with limited supervision • Ability to understand pricing models • Capable of acquiring superior knowledge of industry and competitors • Ability to follow a sales process as designated or instructed • Product demonstration skills • Transportation/logistics knowledge • Position required to meet DOT requirements and drive pickup truck and trailer • Lifting, twisting, reaching, carrying, and bending; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds • Ability to safely stand for 95% as needed • Frequent daytime travel required • Occasional overnight travel required
