📋 Description

• Lead the technical design, architecture and evolution of distributed backend ecosystems (Node.js), ensuring integration with Web and Mobile applications (React/Flutter) • Continuously evolve solutions in software quality, processes, performance and new features • Define and drive architectural patterns for resilience, high availability, scalability and low latency • Perform technical refinement of complex initiatives, assessing feasibility and supporting the product’s long-term vision • Guide software engineering best practices, including Clean Code, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns and SOLID principles • Provide technical support and mentorship to developers • Promote a rigorous code review culture • Act as a technical bridge between backend and client-side engineers • Document architecture and technical decisions • Ensure alignment with architecture guidelines and information security directives • Monitor APM, API error rates, latency and database health • Design and evolve distributed system architectures • Coordinate strategies for complex releases using Canary deployments, Feature Flags and Remote Config, integrating backend deploys with app/web launches • Build and evolve digital channels for resellers in Portugal and Colombia and solutions for commercial management of reseller portfolios

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and the modern server-side ecosystem • Experience working as a Tech Lead or Technical Software Architect in high-performing cross-functional teams • Deep architectural knowledge of Web (React) and Mobile (Flutter) applications • Advanced knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, Design Patterns and resilience patterns • Proficiency with Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Redis, PostgreSQL and MongoDB • Experience with cloud architectures and Serverless solutions, including AWS Lambda and API Gateway • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD and Bitrise • Understanding of backend deployment workflows and Android/iOS app distribution • Mastery of automated testing: unit, integration, end-to-end and load/stress testing • Experience with logging, tracing, metrics and APM • Knowledge of software internationalization, multiple time zones and currencies • Proficiency with Gitflow, GitHub Flow and GitLab Flow • Experience with Feature Flags and Remote Config, including ConfigCat and Firebase Remote Config • Critical and analytical perspective on performance, scalability, resilience and information security • Experience in agile teams and the ability to work autonomously in a multifunctional, multilingual and collaborative environment
